The Wijewickrema’s always wanted their own TV Show.
‘The Better Bunch’ by SBS Viceland presents the Wijewickrema family, who established GG’s Flowers with the sole purpose of hiring those with special needs.The Wijewickrema family show how family love and support took the business that was made for Gayana- a young girl with Down Syndrome, and unintentionally turned it into a social enterprise advocating for more employment opportunities for people with special needs. Touching on subjects such as protecting vulnerable people within the community, to discussing future plans and goals, GG’s Flowers is a business that aims to leave its mark on the community.
